This years Mr Gay Cork final was held in Chambers bar on Sunday the 27th of September 2009, and was hosted by the wonderful Miss Joanna Ryde.

For the first time ever two winners were selected, having the respective titles of Mr Gay Cork & Mr Gay Cork.com, with a runner up selected in case either of the two winners was unable to attend the final in Dublin.

Also the winners were decide by public vote, rather than by a jury as from previous years.

The winners on the night were:

• Jason Parkes – Mr Gay Cork - representing the Chop Shop barbers
• Davey Walshe – Mr GayCork.com – representing Loafers bar
• The runner up was Colm who represented Flux bar
